The shell is cast in high strength 40 MPa steel-reinforced concrete off site and cured under controlled conditions, then waterproofed and finished, including the internal tiling, before it leaves the factory. It arrives at your property as a single completed unit and is craned into a prepared excavation.

A poured-in-place concrete pool turns your yard into a construction site for an extended period while formwork goes up, concrete is placed and the shell cures. Precast moves nearly all of that off site, so the disruptive part of the job at your place is the excavation and the install. Typically the pool is swim-ready within 72 hours of the crane arriving, including excavation.

Yes. The shell is designed to take decking and concrete surrounds, and the thickened chamfered edge gives you somewhere to fix to. Check and comply with the manufacturer requirements for any fixing you use.

Yes. Every model is a self-supporting structure, so it can go completely in ground, half in ground or completely out of ground, assuming the geotechnical characteristics of your site suit. That flexibility is often what makes a sloping block workable.

Usually, and a sloping site generally needs less excavation than a flat one. It does change the engineering and the site preparation. Tell us about the fall across your yard in the estimator and we will factor it in.

Enough room for a truck to deliver and a crane to set up and lift the pool over whatever sits between the street and the pool position. The things that decide it are the minimum access width, the distance from the street to the pool position, overhead powerlines, and the ground conditions. Sites with less than 1.5 m of access are rarely feasible unless there is a way in through a neighbouring vacant block or reserve.

The pool itself is typically installed and swim-ready in under 72 hours once work starts on site, including excavation. The lead time before that, from order to delivery, depends on the finish you choose: the streamlined Beadcrete tier is the fastest at roughly six weeks. Our own current lead times are still being confirmed, so ask us for a real date rather than relying on a headline number.

Yes. Every swimming pool in Australia needs approval, generally either a Complying Development Certificate issued by a private certifier or a traditional development approval through your council. A geotechnical report must be provided for every pool to satisfy certification, and it also determines the footings your pool needs. If your property is zoned for a CDC, approval can take as little as 24 hours. If it is not, a development application through council can take several weeks.

We manufacture and deliver the pool. Your cranage and installation are carried out by an approved and licensed installer that we refer you to, and you contract with them directly. Installers are reviewed for suitability before they are approved to install this product.

Yes. Every model is built to integrate with a heating system. We fit the Oasis iX Series rapid heat inverter heat pump from Sunlover Heating, which Sunlover rates at 30% more efficient than a standard on and off heat pump and which can be set up to run on excess solar generation. Heating is priced separately and is not included in the pool price.

The manufactured pool, pre-plumbed, with your chosen internal finish, imported stone coping, a swim bench, an LED pool light and transformer, three filtration returns, a skimmer box, a hydrostatic valve, a handover kit and chemical start up, delivered to site. All prices include GST.

Installation, which your licensed installer quotes against your own site conditions and which includes cranage. Also excluded: council approval, the geotechnical report every site needs, filtration and sanitisation equipment, heating, and pool fencing. Some tile options carry a surcharge, confirmed at quotation.

Because it is not ours to quote. Installation cost turns on your access width, the distance from the street, crane size, how much excavation is needed and the ground conditions. A number published here would be wrong for most sites. Request a quotation and we will refer you to local approved installers to inspect your site and price it properly.

Fully tiled means the entire interior is laid in Spanish glass mosaic, which is the finish specified on high-end poured concrete pools. Designer Beadcrete is a glass bead interior with a mosaic waterline band: faster, more cost-effective and it gives the water more depth of colour. The streamlined Beadcrete tier cuts the options down to one colour to shorten the build, and is offered on two models only.

Less than a full-size pool, because there is less water to keep balanced and less surface to keep clean, but it is still a pool. Expect to check and adjust water chemistry regularly and to run the filtration on a schedule.

No. A tiled surface is non-porous and cleans well. It is the finish specified on high-end concrete pools precisely because it holds up over time.

The filtration system cleans the water and large debris collects in the skimmer box, which will also take a handheld vacuum. An automated cleaner is worth having if you would rather not think about it.

Equipment is chosen separately from the pool and quoted with your build, so you can match the system to how you want to run it. Nook Plunge is a licensed dealer for Naked Freshwater Pool Systems and for Oasis Aquatics by Sunlover Heating, and every pool is equipped from those two ranges: an Oasis variable speed pump and media or cartridge filter, then either Naked freshwater sanitisation or Oasis low-salt chlorination, with optional pH dosing, app control and an Oasis iX heat pump.

A freshwater pool is sanitised by copper-silver ionisation and oxidation rather than by holding a chlorine or salt residual in the water. Naked, the system we fit, runs at 800 to 1,000 parts per million of dissolved solids against 4,000 to 6,000 in a conventional salt pool, and Naked states the water holds less chlorine than the water from many household taps. In practice that means no sting, no chlorine smell, and less wear on coping, tiles and nearby plants.

A 15 year guarantee on finishes, meaning the tiling and the stone coping, and a 5 year guarantee on everything else.

The tiling and stone coping finishes: manufacturing defects, premature deterioration of the tiles, and structural issues with the stone coping installation, under normal pool usage.

Damage from misuse, chemical imbalance, extreme weather or normal wear. Surface staining from inadequate maintenance, damage caused by pool equipment, and alterations made by third parties are also excluded. The structural concrete shell and the mechanical equipment carry their own separate terms.

Yes. The 15 year guarantee on tiling and stone coping transfers to the new owner. Pass on your warranty documentation and installation records when you sell.

Maintain proper water chemistry, clean the pool regularly, and avoid abrasive cleaning materials on the tiles or the stone coping. Annual professional inspections are recommended. Keep a record of what you have done, because that is what supports a claim if you ever need to make one.
